The funding will be used to deliver a pilot summer holiday programme of creative and sporting activities for D/deaf young people. This project will promote inclusion and help reduce the isolation of young D/deaf people and bring young people together to build relationships improve confidence communication creative skills and wellbeing

The funding will be used to deliver a 12 month programme of weekly after-school workshops to young people aged 11-25 who experience mental health issues and create a film covering the topic. The project aims to provide support, reduce isolation and create a safe space for young people to share their experiences with peers to improve well-being

It Helps to Talk

This two-year project delivered weekly drama workshops for young adults with mental health issues living in Chatham and Gillingham. During the project, they formed links with isolated older adults (aged 65+) through a monthly lunch club and the provision of intergenerational drama activities. The project was designed by the young participants and aimed to support them to connect with the wider community and make new friends. A steering group of young people met monthly and the older adults also shared ideas to shape the direction of the project.

Pulse

towards two year's running costs of the 'Pulse' project in Kent, which helps address the needs of adults with mental health issues in the six months after hospital discharge

This project will develop their programme of creative workshops, skills training and peer mentoring for people who suffer from mental health issues to improve their confidence, communication, social and employment skills.

Reach Out

'Cabbage Island' - A history of Luton (Medway) through the ages

This project will provide a drama club and holiday activity sessions for 115 young people in Medway. By engaging in the sessions young people will experience improved confidence, social skills and emotional wellbeing.
