This summer we will work in Brent, Croydon, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham and Harrow, providing free holiday activity and a daily nutritious meal for 10-18 yr. olds. We will grow 12 community organisations to run more holiday programmes in the future. Together we can end the holiday hunger gap.

Fit and Fed - Filling the Holiday Gap

Towards expanding StreetGames' Doorstep Sport programme for 2,000 12 –20 year olds into 3 new cluster areas - Newcastle, Liverpool and Merthyr Tydfil— and enable the establishment of 5 new year-round, activity programmes in each of the areas

Doorstep Sport

Working with five locally trusted organisations (LTOs) across London, The Recipient will use Doorstep Sport to engage and retain vulnerable young people to prevent and deter them from getting involved in youth crime, gangs and entering the youth justice system. Training opportunities will also be offered to these young people to increase their skills, confidence and knowledge so that they can progress into volunteering and employment in their own communities

£123,170 (£38,750, £45,550, £38,870) over 3 years towards the costs of a part time Project Field Worker and on-costs for a volunteer management support programme for 60 Doorstep Sport organisations across London.

Funding under Sport England's National Programme funding programme for a Revenue project titled Doorstep Clubs 2012-17. This project is a Multi Sports project, with a focus on younger beneficiaries.
